One of JCreator's most powerful features is code folding. Code folding allows you to selectively hide and display sections of a file in the editor. This feature is helpful when you are working with large regions of text within one window because you can quickly navigate within the source and see an overview of the class methods.
A folding point can be any block of code: class, module, def, if, else, for, and so forth. When you set this command, an additional margin containing minus signs appears in the document. Click the minus signs to hide lines of code; the minus sign then becomes a plus sign, indicating that additional code is hidden. Click the plus signs to display lines of code. The following screenshots show unfolded code and the same file with the code folded.
